Thunderwolves softball has N-O quintet

Rounding out the N-O group are Mikayla Venter (Akron) and Sidney Ziemendorf (Wilson).
The Niagara-Orleans League is well represented on this season’s SUNY Niagara softball team by a group of five players.
That N-O quintet includes sophomore shortstop/second baseman Rylee VanNostrand from Medina along with the freshmen quartet of outfielder/shortstop Mia Herman from Barker, pitcher/first baseman Natalie Brandel from Barker, pitcher Mikayla Ventner from Akron and outfielder Sidney Ziemendorf from Wilson.
Herman has banged out 5 doubles, 1 triple and driven in 6 runs while hitting .319.
VanNostrand, who has also played soccer and basketball for the Thunderwolves, has 2 doubles, 1 home run and has driven in 9 runs.
Brandel who has had 2 doubles an 3 RBIs, has made 10 appearances in the circle including 6 starts.
Venter has pitched in four games and Ziemendorf has played in 10 games in the outfield and is hitting .250.
