Trio of N-O players on GCC softball squad
Contributed Photos – The roster for the SUNY Genesee Community College softball team this spring includes a trio of former Niagara-Orleans League players. That trio includes, from left, Lexi Wolck, a sophomore utility player from Albion, Sloan Jonathan, a freshman pitcher/infielder from Akron and Madison Hughson, a freshman centerfielder from Albion. Hughson is hitting .339 with 4 doubles, 1 triple, 1 home run and 13 RBIs.. Wolck is hitting .364 with 1 double, 4 triples and 3 RBIs. Jonathan, who has been named GCC Athlete of the Week, is hitting .421 with 5 doubles, 2 triples, 1 home run and 5 RBIs.
