Barker ‘9’ downs Lyndonville

A pair of first inning runs proved to be enough as Barker went on to down visiting Lyndonville 3-1 in a non league baseball game this afternoon.
Hits by winning pitcher JJ Prynn and Isaac Monaco plated the two first inning runs for the Bulldogs which later added an insurance run in the fourth frame on two walks and an error.
Lyndonville took a brief 1-0 lead in the top of the first inning on a double by Colton Smith and an error.
Prynn allowed 3 hits and struck out 13 over six and two-thirds innings on the mound for the Bulldogs.
Quincy McClinsey went the distance on the mound for the Tigers likewise giving up only 3 hits and striking out 9.
