Lady Tigers edge Lady Bulldogs in 8 innings

Lyndonville pushed across a run in the top of the eighth inning to nip host Barker 4-3 in a non league softball game this afternoon.
A two out triple by Addison Dillenbeck plated the winning run for the Lady Tigers.
Lyndonville had tied the game at 3-3 with a run in the sixth inning on back-to-back doubles by Arnie Sturtevant and Brooke Robinson.
Barker grabbed what proved to be its only lead at 3-2 by scoring twice in the fifth inning on a double by Madelina Pavlock, two walks, a single by Madyson Flint and two passed balls.
Robinson and Dillenbeck both had two hits for the Lady Tigers as did Pavlock and Alina Riches for the Lady Bulldogs. Pavlock and Peyton Bradley both had doubles for the Lady Bulldogs.
Braelynn Dillenbeck earned the win in the circle scattering 7 hits and striking out 7.
Lyndonville is now 2-0 and Barker 3-1.

A big 8 run third inning highlighted by a three-run double by Austin Humphrey and a two-run double by Kylan Ball keyed Pembroke to an 11-1 non league win over host Barker today.
