Mustangs down Lions to extend win streak

Making it three wins in a row, Medina downed Lockport 11-6 in a non league lacrosse game at Vets Park this morning.
Cole Callard scored 5 goals and Lucius Wagner 3 to lead the Medina attack as Jake Dunn, Max Pilon and Luke Duffina each netted one. Callard now has a team leading total of 25 goals on the season and Wagner 15.
Medina jumped out to a 4-0 first quarter lead as Wagner had two goals and Dunn and Callard one each.
Up 5-1 at the half, the Mustangs extended their advantage to 9-3 at the three-quarter mark as Callard had two goals and Wagner and Pilon one each in the third period.
Now at 4-5 overall, Medina will next visit Akron for a Class D Division game on April 23.
