Newfane bests Barker in N-O track opener
Newfane swept host Barker in the season opening Niagara-Orleans League track meet this afternoon.
The Panthers won the boys meet 107-33 and the girls competition 80-57.
Brandon Aldridge won the 100, 200 and Long Jump, Liam Betteridge the 800, 1600 and 3200 and Naz Spencer the 200 and 400 to lead the Newfane boys.
Stephanie Chunco captured the 100, 200 and 400, Eden Hillman the 800, 1500 and Pole Vault, Sam Broecker the Shotput and Discus and Jayde Jerge the 400 Hurdles and Triple Jump for the Lady Panthers.
Jordyn Kinne won the Long Jump and 100 Hurdles for Barker.
