Youth wrestlers compete in All Star Tourney
Contributed Photo – The Albion Purple Eagles Wrestling Academy had four wrestlers selected to compete in this past weekend’s 3rd Annual All Star Duals/Open Tournament at Whitesboro for their respective sections. Colton Moreland (88 lbs.) had a combined record for the weekend of 7-1 and placed 1st in the open tournament. Jeremy Lutes (92 lbs.) went 4-2 in the dual meets. Matthew Colmenero (68 lbs.) went 4-4 combined and placed 2nd in the open tournament. Harrison Froman went 2-4 in the dual meets. This event is one of the top events for youth wrestlers as each section puts together their most competitive teams.
