Local quartet earns wrestling tourney titles
Contributed Photos – This quartet of local wrestlers captured individual weight class championships at area tournaments today. They are, from left, Ty Holmes (Lyndonville), Hunter Jewell-Smith (Holley-Kendall), William Kruger (Holley-Kendall) and Stryker Sanders (Albion). Holmes (124), Jewell-Smith (285) and Kruger (152) all earned first place honors at the Perry Tournament as did Sanders (101) at the Red Jacket Tournament. Holmes’ efforts on the day including earning his milestone 100th career win.
