Channel Cats score sweep over TigerSharks
Roy-Hart/Barker swept host Akron in a Niagara-Orleans League swim meet Thursday.
The Channel Cats won the boys’ meet 86-58 and the girls’ competition 88-81.
Jackson Brauen was a double winner in the 200 Free and 100 Breaststrokw for the Roy-Hart/Barker boys squad as Garrett Glyshaw took the 50 Free and Hendrick Trombley the 500 Free.
The Akron boys got wins from Aron Gehl (200 Individual Medley), Logan Meyers (100 Butterfly), Quinn O’Malley (100 Free) and Elden Ground (100 Backstroke).
Samantha Fox won the 200 Individual Medley, Abigail Glyshaw the 100 Butterfly and Madelina Pavlock the 100 Free for the Roy-Hart/Barker girls.
The Akron girls had a pair of double winners as Audrey Garverick took the 200 Free and 500 Free and Madigan Regan the 50 Free and 100 Breaststroke. Brooke Milhollen had a win in the 100 Backstroke.
Both Channel Cats teams are now 2-0 while the TigerSharks squads are 1-1.
