RBM club hockey team opens season Wed.
The Roy-Hart/Barker/Medina (RBM) Club Hockey team will begin its 9th season of Western New York League competition on Wednesday facing Buffalo at the Riverside Arena at 8 p.m.
Coaches Jason Kuchey and Jake Harris have a major rebuilding job on their hands as no less than 12 players are gone from last season; 11 who graduated and their top scorer who moved on to a higher level of play. That leaves 7 returning players: Austin Woodworth and Cameron Bryer of Wilson, John Peracciny, Gavin Ickowski and Sean Mettler of Roy-Hart, Jackson Hauser of Barker and Goalie Jordan Johnson of Medina.
After Wednesday’s game, the team will travel to Olean on Saturday at 10 a.m. RBM is scheduled for their home opener in Lockport on Saturday, November 30th at 7 p.m. against Lancaster.
