Eagles lose in Class C Far West Regional

Kendall’s quest to make the state semifinals came to an end tonight as Allegany-Limestone won 4-2 in the Class C Far West Regionals at Geneseo High School.

The Gators started the scoring as Noah Hatch scored on a pass from Luke Griffin for the 1-0 lead four minutes into the first half.

They scored again to make it 2-0 by Brady Strong before the Eagles’ Vinny D’Agostino scored on a corner from Pablo Rosario-Reyes to make it 2-1 at the half.

The second half belonged to A-L as they scored goals from Hatch again and Zander Parsons while Kendall got a second goal from D’Agostino on a pass from Jonathan Esposito for the final score of 4-2.

Kendall finishes their season at 18-2-1 while Allegany-Limestone goes to the state semifinals at Middletown High School next Friday.
