Mustang stickmen earn honors

Five Medina High players have earned spots on the Class C Division lacrosse All-Star squad.
Junior Jake Cotter and senior Dylan Lewis were both selected to the first team while senior Tyler Valley and sophomores Mason Lewis and Brendan Luthart all earned second team honors.
Cotter, who has also been named to the second team of the All Section VI squad, led the Mustangs in scoring this season with 61 goals. He also added 20 assists.
Luthart had 32 goals and 17 assists, Mason Lewis 28 goals and 31 assists, Valley 27 goals and 11 assists and Dylan Lewis 5 goals and 2 assists.
Medina also received the Class C Sportsmanship Award and senior Greg Husung was the Mustangs representative to accept the award.
