Purple Eagles blank Panthers in N-O soccer

Albion improved to 6-2 in Niagara-Orleans League boys soccer competition with a 2-0 win over visiting Newfane this evening.

Leo Bolton scored the Purple Eagles first goal on a direct kick and Tye Talbot netted the second off an assist from Joey Bropst.

Adrian Figueroa-Fuentes made 5 saves to earn the shutout in goal.

Akron (2-6) downed Roy-Hart (0-8) 3-0 in another N-O game as Mason Marcinkowski had a pair of goals.
