Kendall girls rally to win opener
Putting together a big late inning rally, Kendall edged past host Wheatland-Chili 10-8 this afternoon in the Genesee Region League softball opener.
Trailing 7-4, Kendall rallied into the lead for good by scoring four times in the sixth inning on two-run doubles by Chelsea Wright and Madison Rath.
The Lady Eagles then added a pair of insurance runs in the top of the seventh aided by three walks.
Wright also had a triple and Emily Mattle a double for Kendall which next visits Elba on Wednesday.
