Alms House residents deserved better, in life and death

The article on the Alms House sadly left out just how abandoned it was, when skulls of some of the deceased were found in the ditch along County House Road.
Someone should have had responsibility to those unfortunate souls. What if they had been your ancestor? Maybe they were?
