Albion grad scores game winner for Spartans
Contributed Photo – Albion High graduate Deyonci Farley heads to the endzone with what proved to be the game winning touchdown reception for the Genesee County Spartans in a 12-6 victory over the Ithaca Warriors Saturday evening at the Pembroke Town Park. Farley scored on a 34 yard TD pass reception from quarterback Corey Turpin as the Spartans improve to 4-2. The Spartans defense clinched the win by stopping the Ithaca quarterback at the Genesee 3 yard line as time expired.
