Conservation District Secretary/Treasurer

Orleans County Soil & Water Conservation District is seeking an enthusiastic, self-motivated Secretary/Treasurer to perform a variety of duties related to clerical and bookkeeping activities of the District.

Minimum Qualifications: Either

1. Graduation from a regionally accredited or NYS registered college or university with an Associate Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, office practice, or related field.
2. Graduation from High School with two years work experience in accounting, office practice, or related field.

Salary range $42,000 – $50,000, NYS Retirement and Health Insurance package, incentive package, paid holidays, sick time and vacation time.

The position offered is for a patient care coordinator looking to learn a full range of front office duties including:

• Appointment scheduling
• Insurance verification
• Patient walkouts and payments
• Sending insurance pre-authorizations and follow up on denied claims
• Comprehensive treatment planning including reviewing costs and insurance benefits with patients

The Town of Ridgeway is seeking applications for a full-time Code Enforcement Officer (CEO). The CEO will be in charge of administration and enforcement of the New York State Uniform Fire Prevention and Building Code (The Uniform Code) and the State Energy Conservation Construction Code (the Energy Code)

Minimum qualifications are:

1. High School Diploma or equivalency
2. Two (2) years’ experience  in construction; or

Associates degree in engineering; or

Combination of experience, training, and education

1. A New York State Driver’s License and personal vehicle.

COOK Under the Supervision of a Head Cook, prepares and cooks a variety of foods for individuals. Monitors the flow of food to reduce the risk of food-borne illness. Supervise a kitchen staff of correctional incarcerated individuals.

Minimum Qualifications: Three years of experience in large-scale cooking. Supervision a plus.
