Village of Holley is moving in the right direction on many fronts
Editor:
This has been a very busy, successful year in the Village of Holley. The staff have made numerous game-changing office improvements to include filing, billing and procurement processes. The accountants and staff have initiated an aggressive one year approved budget for 2024-2025.
June Fest, Fall Festival and Christmas celebrations were totally successful and enjoyed by hundreds of villagers and visitors. Zoning & Planning, Mayor’s Advisory and Comprehensive Committees arduously worked together to update all future Village of Holley future plans. Numerous volunteers from the Community, Library Board, Rotary, American Legion and Historical Society donated a great deal of time to Village accomplishments, present and future.
We appreciate village residents’ support as we continuously seek to improve services and infrastructure. Street repaving, water lines for High Street, updated electrical services, continued police station upgrade and Waste Water Treatment plant improvement are all in the mix.
Village Square is busy: agenda includes reopening of Sam’s Diner, new business Vintage Toys, IT business coming to the old Village office in August, a new coffee shop in the former Redwoods Trade location, and new renovated upgraded apartments are in the planning for the Holley Hotel. Send out a big welcome aboard to Dr. Elizabeth Wierchowski, Holley Dental Care and we thank Dr. Thompson for taking care of our smiles for over 35 years.
In closing, reminder: this is an election year in the village, so please come out on Tuesday June 18th between the hours of noon and 9 p.m. in the village office foyer. Please show your support to Mark Bower for Mayor and John Morriss plus Jessica MacClaren for Village Trustees.
Thank you all for your support.
