Two Medina High coaches receive honors
Medina High varsity baseball Coach Chris Goyette has been named Western New York high school baseball Coach of the Year.
Goyette’s Mustangs captured the Niagara-Orleans League championship and went on to in both the Section VI Class B and Far West Regional titles to advance to the state semifinals finishing with a 20-2 overall record.
Medina High varsity football Coach Eric Valley has been selected to coach the North team for the annual Kensington Lions Club WNY All-Star Football game which will be held July 24 at Williamsville South.
Valley’s Mustangs have won four straight C North Division titles and two Section VI Class C championships over the past four seasons.
