Barre, Carlton, Elks/Rotary and Sandstone all scored wins in Albion Midget League action Thursday evening.

Barre 9, Hamlin ‘A’ 5
Luke Snyder had 3 hits and 3 RBI and Robbie Hickman 2 hits and 3 RBI for Barre which scored 6 runs in the second inning.

On the mound Hickman and Brodie Furness combined for a 2 hitter with 12 strikeouts.

Ryan Warner had 2 doubles and struck out 11 for Hamlin ‘A’.

Carlton 9, Elba ‘A’ 1
Hank Aina, Luke Bedford and Connor Hinkley each had 3 hits and Caden Woolston and Blake Doty 2 for Carlton. Aina’s hits included a double and triple, Hinkley’s a three-run homer, Woolston’s a triple and Doty’s a double.

On the mound, Aina struck out 7 over 3 innings, Bedford 4 in 2 innings and Woolston 2 in 1 inning.

Elks/Rotary 4, Elba ‘B’ 2 (8 innings)
Rocco Sidari struck out 15 in 6 innings of work on the mound for Elks/Rotary and Evan Coots 6 in 2 innings.

At the plate, Jackson Frasier had 4 hits and 3 RBI, Coots 3 hits including a double and home run and Sidari 2 hits including a double.

Josh Baldwin had 13 strikeouts for Elba ‘B’ and Kyle Hallmark 2 hits and 2 RBI.

Sandstone 9, Hamlin ‘B’ 1
Eli Johnson had 3 hits and 4 RBI, Eli Spada a two-run single and Nikko Russo an RBI single for Sandstone.

Elks/Rotary 6, Sandstone 2
Coots had 14 strikeouts in 6 innings of work on the mound for Elks/Rotary as Sidari had a two-run double.

Brycen Potter had 9 strikeouts over 5 innings for Sandstone.

Elks/Rotary 11, Hamlin ‘B’ 8
Frasier had 3 hits and 2 RBI, Coots 2 hits and 3 RBI and Remi Ebbs 2 hits and 3 runs scored for Elks/Rotary. Coots also had 12 strikeouts in 4 innings of work on the mound.

Barre 8, Carlton 2
Barre scored 4 quick runs in the first inning on hits by Jacob Wright, Luke Snyder and Hudson Armer in route to downing Carlton 8-2.

Wright, Snyder, Hickman and Brodie Furness all finished with 2 hits.

On the mound, Kyler Bennett and Thailer Seibert combined for a 4 hitter with 11 strikeouts.

Carlton scored twice in the sixth inning on hits by Hinkley and Demetrius Ryan-Mincey.

Bedford struck out 10 in 5 innings of work on the mound.
