Lyndonville pushed across two runs in the seventh inning to nip host Alexander 6-5 in a Genesee Region League softball game this afternoon.

A two-run single by Elena Barry provided the margin of victory for the Lady Tigers as a single by Brooke Robinson and a double by Addie Dillenbeck set up the opportunity.

Robinson had 2 hits on the day for the Lady Tigers whose other 4 runs came in the third inning.

Lyndonville improves to 9-3 in the league.

In other G-R action, Oakfield-Alabama edged Kendall 3-1 and Attica downed Holley 21-1.

Caitlin Ryan hurled a 4 hitter with 4 strikeouts for Oakfield-Alabama while Kendall pitcher Danielle Offhaus tossed a 5 hitter with 1 strikeout.

Oakfield-Alabama’s runs all came in the sixth inning as Kara Tobolski had a two-run single.
