Pembroke youth gridders top Holley
Building up a 27-0 halftime lead, Pembroke went on to defeat Holley 27-14 Saturday in the Varsity Division of the Niagara Orleans Football Association.
Erik Balys had 88 yards rushing with two touchdowns and two extra points for Holley.
Defensively for the Jr. Hawks, Zach VanAmeron made 12 tackles, Balys 11, Dustin Wilston 8, Jacob Norman and Matt Hahn 7 each, Trey Buzard 6, Mason Kuhn 4, Keith Szczepanski and Lexi Clemons 3 each and Matt Wilson 2. Szczepanski also forced two fumbles.
