Albion to host senior twin bill Friday

Albion will play host to the 23rd Niagara-Orleans League vs. Genesee Region League Exceptional Senior basketball doubleheader on Friday evening.

The girls’ game is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. to be followed by the boys’ contest at 7 p.m.

The N-O league holds a 12-10 lead in both the boys’ and girls’ series but the G-R has captured both contests the last two years.

The roster for the G-R girls team includes Samantha Bates and Jailyn Bishop from Holley; Danielle Offhaus from Kendall; Ashlee Stephens from Lyndonville; Alyssa Kramer, Madison Boyce and Holly Bykowski from Alexander; Victoria Rogoyski and Gabby Graff from Byron-Bergen; Caitlin Ryan and Sayde Bush from Oakfield-Alabama; Elle Peterson from Pembroke; Madeline Robinson from Attica; Ava Chatt from Elba; Emma Sisson and Nina Bartz from Notre Dame and Cheyenne Whitcomb and Emily Parker from Wheatland-Chili.

The lineup for the N-O girls squad has not been released.

The G-R boys roster includes Louie Conte from Kendall; Justin Higgins from Lyndonville; Ryan Fitzpatrick, Jay Antinore and Jaden Sherwood from Notre Dame; Brenden Wescott from Oakfield-Alabama; Cole Harding, Jack Janes and Clayton Bezon from Attica; Mike Long from Elba; Avery Ferreira and Tyson Totten from Pembroke; Colin Martin, Braedyn Chambry and Brody Baubie from Byron-Bergen and Trent Woods from Alexander.

The lineup for the N-O boys’ squad includes Blake Preston from Albion; Justin Pitts from Medina; Rem Albee from Roy-Hart; Luey Castro and Aidan Mescall from Barker; Brale Abrams and Trace Hill from Akron; Landon Braman, Nate Snow and Ben Dickinson from Newfane and Blake Martin and Jack Mahar from Wilson.
