RBM ousted from state hockey playoffs
The Roy-Hart/Barker/Medina Club Hockey team was eliminated from the State Tournament by a 5-1 loss to Half Hallow Hills from Long Island this morning at Jamestown.
RBM fell behind almost immediately 1-0 but tied the game later in the period on an unassisted goal by Luc Wagner (Medina).
In the second period, on an identical replay of Friday evening’s loss, penalties proved disasterous as Half Hallow Hills scored three power play goals to put the game away.
Wagner’s goal gave him a team- leading 24 on the season and a total of 41 points.
RBM ended the season with a record of 10-11-1.
