Medina, Lyndonville to open Midget ‘A’ playoff finals on Tuesday
In a meeting of the top two seeds, No. 1 Medina will host No. 2 Lyndonville at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday on the JV field in the opener of the best two out of three Lockport Midget ‘A’ League playoff championship series.
The second game will be played at Lyndonville on Thursday at 5:30 p.m.
A third game, if necessary, will be played at Medina on Friday at 5:30 p.m.
Medina advanced to the title round by scoring a 3-0 win over No. 5 seed Lockport 2 in the semifinals while Lyndonville bested No. 3 Lockport 1 by a 4-1 margin in the other semi.
During the regular season Medina took two out of three from Lyndonville.
