N-O wrestle, swim seasons winding down

The Niagara-Orleans League wrestling season wraps up this week as Albion will host the annual All-League Tournament on Saturday beginning at 10 a.m. The Purple Eagles will also host Medina at 6 p.m. Wednesday in the regular season finale.

The N-O swim regular season competition will also wrap up this week as Roy-Hart/Barker will host Medina on Tuesday and Newfane on Thursday and Albion will visit Medina on Thursday, all at 5 p.m., in meets that will help determine the league’s champions. The boys standings currently has Albion at 6-1 and Roy-Hart/Barker at 5-1. The girls race as Roy-Hart/Barker at 6-0 and Albion at 5-2.

First place in the N-O boys basketball title race will be on the line on Tuesday in a key clash of unbeatens as defending champion Newfane (4-0) hosts Akron (5-0).
