Lyndonville Dodgers capture title

Compiling a perfect 16-0 record, the Lyndonville Dodgers captured top honors in the Somerset/Lyndonville Little League his season. Earning a title for the second year in a row, the Dodgers defeated the Yankees in the semifinals and the Cardinals 22-8 in the playoff championship game. In the title game, Nathan Poler pitched five innings and Nate Hydock pitched the final inning. At the plate, Cal Stinson hit two doubles and a triple, Kane Flynn two doubles and a single, Zach Johnson a home run and Devin Rounds a triple. “All our wins were due to great team work and not one individual player,” said Coach Dan Flynn.
