Regional honors for local fall sports athletes
Photos by Cheryl Wertman – Lyndonville’s Ashlee Stephens and Kendall’s Jimmie Swift have earned regional honors.
Lyndonville senior Ashlee Stephens has earned Honorable Mention on the All Greater Rochester Area volleyball team and Kendall senior Jimmie Swift Honorable Mention on the boys soccer squad.
Stephens had 43 spiking kills, 33 aces, 37 blocks, 89 digs and 173 assists for the Lady Tigers this past season.
Swift, who anchored the Eagles defense in goal, made 156 savesa and had a 1.16 goals against average.
Stephens and Swift were both Genesee Region Legue All Stars.
In addition, Kendall seniors Ben Brundage and Hannah Brundage and Holley senior Mason Merriam have all earned Honorable Mention on the All Greater Rochester Area cross-country team.
