Breaking away from a halftime tie, Attica used a big third quarter scoring edge to key a 56-39 win over host Kendall in a Genesee Region League boys basketball game this evening.

Deadlocked at 23-23 at the break, Attica outpointed Kendall 20-6 in the decisive third quarter to open up a 43-29 advantage. Jordan Anderson scored all 9 of his points in the stanza to lead the Blue Devils uprising.

Kendall had jumped out to a 17-10 first quarter lead as Jacek Kwiatkowski hit two threes and Louie Conte one.

However, Attica answered with a 13-6 second period scoring edge to rally into the 23-23 halftime tie.

Eddie Janes scored 18, Clayton Bezon 16 and Cole Hardign 11 to lead Attica.

Conte tallied 15 and Kwiatkowski 10 to pace Kendall as Austin Werth and Hunter Richards both added 6 and Nick Cole 2.

In a non league game, Alexander defeated visiting Barker 72-33.
