Kendall cheerleaders win two titles

The Kendall High varsity cheerleaders had a very busy but very successful weekend. On Saturday, Kendall took first place honors at the NYS Cheerleading Spectacular in Canandaigua besting Newark, East Rochester and Clyde-Savannah. On Sunday, the Eagles took top honors at the Greater Rochester Cheerleading and Dance Championships at the Blue Cross Arena topping Bradford, Sodus, Mt. Morris and an All City squad. Kendall’s cheerleading squad includes, in front from left, Hannah Reynolds, Jessica Hofer, Taylor Rutland and Maya Rutland. In the middle row are Brooke Andrus, Haley Menze, Keri Furness and Coralee Freitag. In the top row are Alexis Payton, Kali Haskins, Sarah Pearson and Rose Pajek. The Eagles are coached by Joanne Rutland.
