Kendall girls down rival Holley

Improving to 6-0, Kendall downed rival Holley 35-22 in a Genesee Region League girls basketball game this evening at Kendall.

Alea Barrett took game high scoring honors with 11 for Kendall as Ava LaMay and Brooke Rodas both added 6, Stella Kwiatek 5, Danielle Offhaus 4,and Addison Kludt 3.

Lia Larson also had 17 rebounds and Rodas 11 for the Lady Eagles.

Alivia Wolf and Zoey Wolf each scored 6, Samantha Bates 4 and Emma Brady, Leigha Walker and Jailyn Bishop 2 for Holley.

LaMay scored 6 and Rodas hit a three to spark Kendall out to an 11-6 first quarter lead.

The Lady Eagles maintained leads of 18-8 at the half and 26-18 after three quarters.

Barrett had a two and a three in the second period and Kwiatek and Barrett both hit threes in the third. Alivia Wolf hit two threes in the third for Holley but the Lady Hawks could get no closer than five at 18-13.

Kendall got threes from Barrett and Rodas in the final period to help close out the win.

Holley is now 2-3.
