Lady Rams open season on the road Wed.
Photo by Cheryl Wertman – Roy-Hart will begin prepping for the upcoming Niagara-Orleans League girls basketball season by visiting Cleveland Hill in a non league game on Wednesday. Leading Roy-Hart into the season will be this quartet of veterans including junior Lila Brigham and seniors Madison DiNeri, Isabella Cacciatore and Juliana Terwilliger. The Lady Rams, whose graduation losses included Juliana Buscarino, Ada Livergood, Alexis Cacciatore and Mckenna Elsenheimer are also without junior Kaitlin Mettler, a second team All-League honoree, who is not playing this season. “We’ve got a lot of athleticism and quickness. We just have to develop cohesiveness as a team,” said Coach Grace Swick. The Lady Rams will also host Maryvale on Dec. 8, Tonawanda on Dec. 13 and visit Park on Dec. 15 before hosting defending champion Wilson in the N-O opener on Dec. 19.
