N-O honors boys soccer All-League team

Four players from champion Wilson, along with three each from Albion, Medina and Akron, comprise the first team of the annual Niagara-Orleans All-League boys soccer squad.

Junior midfielder Keegan Herrmann, who has been named N-O Player of the Year, heads Wilson’s contingent which also includes senior midfielder Blake Wilson, sophomore defender Andrew Donner and senior goalkeeper Jake Austin.

Herrmann, a repeat first team honoree, had 19 goals and 11 assists, Simpson 7 goals and 9 assists and Austin 127 saves.

Albion is represented by forward Finn McCue, midfielder Alonzo Figueroa-Fuentes and defender Dominic Mulka, all seniors.

McCue scored 16 goals and Figueroa-Fuentes 3 goals and 5 assists.

Medina has placed forward Tyler Kroening, midfielder Cole Callard and defender Trenton Morley, all juniors.

Callard scored a school record 28 goals and added 14 assists and Kroening had 18 goals and 10 assists.

Roy-Hart is represented by forward Landen Guild, midfielder Rem Albee and defender Caleb Verratti, all seniors.

Guild had 10 goals and 4 assists and Albee 4 goals and 9 assists.

Wilson has also placed four players on the All League second team including freshman forward Cole Herrmann, sophomore midfielders Aidan Neumann and David Gurski and senior defender Jack Ingwersen.

Albion is represented by the trio of midfielder David Rosario-Soto, defender Leo Bolton and goalkeeper Adrian Figueroa-Fuentes, all juniors.

Medina has placed sophomore forward Vinny Gray, senior midfielder Alex Benz and sophomore defender Luke Duffina.

Rounding out the second team are Roy-Hart junior forward Braden Ricker and senior defender Jayden Swygert along with Akron senior forward Cole Fleming.
