Albion Mini Eagles win playoff semifinal

The Albion Mini Division Eagles blanked Attica 20-0 today in the semifinals of the Niagara Orleans Football Association (NOFA) playoffs.
Camden Holt was a brusing and challenging running back for the Eagles with 14 carries and 95 tough yards on the day. Jayce Torres had 43 yards and a touchdown. Lincoln Voorhees added 32 yards and a score. Jace DiMatteo opened up the scoring with a TD run. Liam Pearl had 15 yards rushing and 18 receiving.
Kairo Bennett led the defense with 7 tackles. Torres 6, Voorhees, Zion O’Neal and Pearl 5.
Next week the NOFA Championships will take place at Batavia’s Van Detta Stadium. Beginner Division, Albion vs Roy-Hart at 10 a.m., Mini Division, Albion vs Roy-Hart at Noon. JV Division, Pembroke vs LeRoy at 2 p.m. followed by the Varsity Division, Batavia vs Newfane. Admission will be $3.00.
