Weather postpones three contests
Today’s early morning burst of snow, which caused the closing of the Albion, Holley and Medina schools, has resulted in the postponement of three area sports contests.
The Medina at Newfane and Barker/Roy-Hart at Albion Niagara-Orleans League wrestling matches as well as the Lyndonville at Holley Genesee Region League boys basketball game have been postponed. No makeup dates have been announced.
As of 10 a.m., the Alexander at Kendall G-R boys basketball game (7 p.m.) and the Rochester Academy Charter at Lyndonville non league girls basketball game (5:30 p.m.) were still on as scheduled.
