Veteran quintet leads Albion golfers

Looking to improve upon last year’s 1-13 record, the Albion golf team is prepping for next week’s Niagara-Orleans League season opening matches led by a quintet of returning regulars.
The Purple Eagles veterans include seniors Jared Fearby, Adam Sills and Kyle Thaine along with sophomores Victor Benjovsky and Nick Penna.
“We want to build on the experience they gained last year and we’re hoping to improve,” said Coach Bill Dambra.
Albion is slated to open the season on August 25 against CSAT at Hickory Ridge.
