U10 Fillies begin softball season
The Medina Fillies 10u Fastpitch Travel softball team’s season is underway. The Fillies opened with a 17-0 loss at Lou Gehrig and then bowed 17-5 to Lancaster in their first home game.
Medina scored 3 runs in the 4th inning against Lancaster. One run scored on a walk and two runs on a single by Lily Joe Carpenter. Medina added two more runs in the 5th on a 2 run RBI by Faith Oberther.
Oberther pitched 5 strike outs and Iyanna King made a diving out at home as catcher.
Medina plays Cayuga at home May 26th at 6:30 Butts Park.
