Wilson blanks Medina; Albion and R-H win

A pair of early goals sparked Wilson to a 3-0 win over Medina in a Niagara-Orleans League boys soccer game at Vets Park this evening.

David Gurski scored off a corner and Keegan Hermann on a penalty kick in the first 20 minutes to put Wilson on top to stay. Aidan Neumann added an insurance goal for the Lakemen midway through the second half.

Wilson is now 3-0 and Medina 2-1 in N-O action.

Albion 2, Newfane 1
Albion improved to 2-1 in N-O competition with a 2-1 win over visiting Newfane.

Finn McCue scored off an assist from Alonzo Figueroa-Fuentes and then Figueroa-Fuentes tallied off an assist from David Rosario-Soto.

Roy-Hart 3, Akron 0
Roy-Hart likewise boosted its N-O record to 2-1 with a 3-0 victory over visiting Akron on first half goals by Zach Schultz, Rem Albee and Jack Johnson.

Noah Bartholomew earned the shutout in goal for the Rams.
