An action for the recovery of chattels was commenced by Plaintiff, NBC Shed Rentals, LLC, pursuant to Article 71 of the New York Civil Practice Law and Rules by the filing of a Summons and Complaint with the Orleans County Clerk’s Office on June 16, 2026, concerning a portable storage building rented by you from Plaintiff and delivered to the following address: 9 Andrew Street, Liberty, New York.  A copy of the summons and complaint is available at the offices of Saunders Kahler, L.L.P. at the address listed below.

Plaintiff NBC Shed Rentals, LLC is seeking a judgment against you that Plaintiff NBC Shed Rentals, LLC is the owner and entitled to immediate possession of the portable storage building, that Plaintiff NBC Shed Rentals, LLC be given access to effectuate seizure of the portable storage building, and if possession of the portable storage building cannot be given to Plaintiff NBC Shed Rentals, LLC, that Plaintiff NBC Shed Rentals, LLC have a judgment against Defendant Myles M. Kleiman, with interest, and together with attorneys’ fees and costs in accordance with the Rental Purchase Agreement.

Judgment may be entered for the above sought relief if you fail to answer or otherwise appear.

Murray Joint Fire District RESOLUTION DECLARING CERTAIN FIRE APPARATUS SURPLUS

 At a meeting of the Murray Joint Fire District held on December 30, 2025 the following Resolution was adopted:

RESOLVED, that the Board of Fire Commissioners of the Murray Joint Fire District, does hereby determines that the 2007 Central States Fire Apparatus, VIN #4S7HT2B947C056175 (the “Fire Apparatus”) owned and operated by the Fire District is no longer necessary for any Fire District uses or purposes and hereby declares the Fire Apparatus to be surplus, subject to permissive referendum; and it is further

RESOLVED, that this resolution is subject to a permissive referendum as provided by Section 176 (23) of the Town Law and Section 6-g of the General Municipal Law.

MURRAY JOINT FIRE DISTRICT NOTICE OF ANNUAL ELECTION

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Annual Election of the Murray Joint Fire District will take place on December 9, 2025 between the hours of 6:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. at the Murray Joint Firehouse at 7 Thomas Street, Holley, New York for the purpose of electing the following fire district officers:

One Fire Commissioner for a five (5) year term, commencing January 1, 2026 and ending December 31, 2030 (designated “Commissioner A”);

One Fire Commissioner, also for a three (3) year term, commencing January 1, 2026 and ending December 31, 2028 (designated “Commissioner B”); and

One Fire Commissioner, for a one (1) year term, commencing January 1, 2026 and ending December 31, 2026 (designated “Commissioner C”)

All candidates for a District Office shall be residents of the Murray Joint Fire District, not convicted of any degree of arson and shall file in writing their name, and shall state specifically whether such candidate seeks the position of “Commissioner A” or “Commissioner B” or “Commissioner C” with the Secretary of the Murray Joint Fire District, at 7 Thomas Street, Holley, New York or by postal mail addressed to the Secretary of the Murray Joint Fire District, at Murray Joint Fire District, P.O. Box 495, Holley, New York 14470, which writing must be actually received by the Fire District Secretary on or before 5:00 p.m. on November 20, 2025.

Any elector of the Murray Joint Fire District who shall be a registered voter with the Orleans County Board of Elections on or prior to November 18, 2025 and who shall have resided in the Murray Joint Fire District for at least thirty days preceding such election shall be qualified to vote.

Legal Notice of Public Hearing on the Budget

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Proposed 2026 Budget of the Murray Joint Fire District of the Town of Murray, State of New York, will be presented by the Board of Fire Commissioners of the Murray Joint Fire District, for its consideration.

A PUBLIC HEARING will be held at 7:00 p.m. at the Murray Joint Fire District 7 Thomas St, Holley, State of New York on the 21st day of October, 2025.

Pursuant to Town Law Section 181.3(a), the Board of Fire Commissioners must hold a public hearing on the budget, make the proposed budget available to the public prior to the public hearing, and allow the public to comment on the budget at the public hearing. This public hearing must be held to allow maximum public participation in the hearing.

The purpose of the public hearing is to allow any person to be heard in favor of or against the proposed budget as it is submitted, or for or against any item or items contained in the proposed budget, and hearing all persons interested in the subject concerning same.

That a copy of the proposed budget is available at the Office of the Town Clerk(s) of the Town of Murray, 3840 Fancher Rd, Murray, New York. This notice of hearing as well as the Proposed Budget is also posted on the Murray Joint Fire District website, http://www.mjfd.org/

Press Release, Village of Albion

ALBION – Landlords with vacant rental units in the Albion area are invited to attend an upcoming informational session for the New York State Vacant Rental Rehabilitation Program.

The session will be hosted by the Village of Albion in partnership with G&G Municipal Consulting and Grant Writing. The meeting will be Wednesday, August 13, from 5 to 6 p.m. at the Village of Albion offices, 35 E. Bank St.

This state-funded program is designed to assist property owners in bringing vacant rental units back into active use through eligible rehabilitation work, supporting the broader goal of increasing access to quality rental housing in the community. During the session, attendees will learn about program eligibility requirements, available funding, the application process, and how disbursements are handled.

“This initiative presents an excellent opportunity for landlords to invest in their properties while contributing to Albion’s housing stability,” said Jay Grasso of G&G Municipal Consulting and Grant Writing. “We’re excited to help local property owners understand how to take full advantage of the program.”

All property owners with vacant rental units in the Village of Albion are encouraged to attend. No registration is required.
