Recco places 4th at Eastern States
Lyndonville High senior Tony Recco earned a fourth place finish at the Eastern States Tournament held Friday and Saturday at Sullivan County Community College.
Recco went 6-2 on the weekend at the huge tournament which included wrestlers representing over 100 schools from 10 states.
Lyndonville also had Jeff Gress Jr. go 2-2 and Tom Follman 1-2 at the tournament.
Several Lyndonville grapplers also competed at the Lockport Tournament on Saturday.
Chris McDonald placed third for the Tigers as Devin Joy and Dustin Hinkley both placed fourth.
Lyndonville next hosts Kendall at 6 p.m. Tuesday in a Genesee Region League match.
