Purple Eagle booters gain first win

Snapping a season opening five game losing streak, Albion used quick scoring bursts to open both halves to key a 4-2 victory over host CSAT this afternoon in a Niagara-Orleans League boys soccer game.

Hayden Pecoraro scored all four goals for Albion which is now 1-3 in the league and 1-5 overall.

Pecoraro put Albion on top to stay by scoring just a minute and 20 seconds into the first half off an assist from Josh Metzler.

It remained a tight 1-0 game until Pecoraro scored twice in the first minute and a half of the second half. He scored just 20 seconds in off an assist from Preston Flugal and again just a minute and 30 seconds in.

Peccoraro later rounded out the Purple Eagles scoring with a goal off an assist from Kendyll Hadick upping the lead to 4-0.

The loss drops CSAT to 0-4 in N-O action.
