Green competes in Epson Tour event

The only amateur in the field, Medina’s Melanie Green competed in the Epson Tour’s Twin Bridges Championship Tournament at Guilderland, N.Y. this weekend.
Green, who will be a senior at the University of South Florida this fall, made the cut by posting scores of 75 and 72 over the first two rounds on Friday and Saturday for a total of 147.
She then closed out the tournament today with a round of 73 to finish with a 7 over par total of 220 which was 13 shots off the pace.
Epson is the official qualifying tour of the LPGA tour.
