Moore to play football at Thiel College

Albion High senior Gary Moore has has announced he will attend Thiel College in Greenville, Pa. in the fall to continue his education and football career.
Moore played both offensive and defensive line positions for the Purple Eagles this past fall and earned B North Division All-Star honorable mention.
“I’m excited,” said Moore who is undecided on his major. “I wanted to attend a liberal arts school because I haven’t decided upon a major. I like the school, the football program and the coaches.”
“Gary Moore is the definition of a Team player,” said Albion Coach Gary Parisi. “I asked him to play two new positions this year and his response was simple, ‘Whatever will help the team coach’. This is a trait not seen in most young people these days. Gary came back from knee surgery this year and it was tough on him, but at no time did he ever complain. When I told schools about his effort and attitude, they loved that in a player.”
Moore has also played basketball and baseball for the Purple Eagles.
