Medina’s final home regular season varsity lacrosse game at noon on Saturday against Williamsville South will include special Veterans Appreciation Day ceremonies.

Between the 10 a.m. JV and 12 noon varsity games at Vets Park the veterans in the families of the Mustangs JV and varsity players will be recognized.

The day’s activities will also include sign-up for the Medina summer lacrosse program between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. The sign-up is for all ages from the U8 to the U16 divisions.

Medina’s scheduled non league game at Avon this afternoon was cancelled. Avon has cancelled the remainder of its season because of a lack of sufficient number of players due to injuries.

Medina brings a 7-6 overall record into the contest against Williamsville South.
