Albion’s football field project is shaping up
Photo by Cheryl Wertman – The project to renovate and upgrade Albion’s football/track facility continues to progress with much of the base work completed. When completed the project will feature an artificial turf football field and a new track surface. The Section VI schedule has Albion’s home football opener slated for September 15 against Roy-Hart/Barker. The schedule has the Purple Eagles first two games on the road at Iroquois on Sept. 1 and at Dunkirk on Sept. 8. The district’s overall athletic facilities improvement project will also include installing artificial turf on the soccer/softball field.
