Medina girls romp past CSAT

Wilson posts key win over Roy-Hart

Getting goal production from four different players, Medina romped to a 7-0 victory over host CSAT this afternoon in a Niagara-Orleans League girls soccer game.

Destiny Satkowski scored 3 goals and Hannah Adams 2 for the Mustangs as Morgan Roach and Ashlee Howell each chopped in with one.

Emma Gardner earned the shutout in goal.

Medina is now 1-2-1 and CSAT 0-4.


In a key N-O contest, defending champion Wilson used a quick 3 goal scoring burst at the outset to key a 7-0 romp over Roy-Hart.

Jenn Darlak scored just 6 minutes into the game to get Wilson rolling as Kayla Neumann followed up with another goal at the 8 minute mark and Rachel Senek tallied at the 12 minute mark. Neumann had 2 goals and 2 assists on the day.

Wilson is now 4-0 and Roy-Hart 3-1.

Akron boosted its N-O record to 2-1-1 with a 12-0 win over Barker (0-4) as Leah Czechowski led the attack with 3 goals.

Boys Soccer

Byron-Bergen 4, Albion 0
The host Bees blanked Albion 4-0 this evening in the opening round for the Byron-Bergen boys soccer tournament.

Albion, which next faces Northstar in the consolation game at 5 p.m. Saturday, trailed by a narrow 1-0 margin at the half.
