Lyndonville cagers race past Holley

Fastbreaking at every opportunity, Lyndonville raced to a 71-37 victory over Holley this afternoon in the consolation game of the Roy-Hart Tip-Off Tournament.
Setting the tone at the outset, Lyndonville jumped out to an 18-8 first period lead. Nick Hinkson hit two threes and a jumper to lead that early surge as Eric Neace, Eddie Schildt, Corey Hydock and Zach Johnson each chipped in with a basket.
The Tigers upped the lead to 16, 34-18, at the half as Hinkson, Hydock and Hoffee all hit threes in the second period.

Keeping the momentum, Lyndonville extended its advantage to 27, 54-27, at the three-quarter mark. Hydock hit three threes and Schildt netted three buckets from close range to lead that 20-9 Tigers surge.
Hoffee finished with 17, Hinkson 16, Hydock 14, Schildt 10, Neace 7, Johnson 4 and Hunter Ottaviano 3.

Ryan Moseman had 11 and Nick Passarell 9 for Holley as Chris Balys added 7, Dylan Hillabush 6 and Isiah Flow 4 for the Hawks.
Neace and Hillabush were named to the All-Tournament team.
Lyndonville improves to 4-1 while Holley slips to 0-3.
