Albion High holds annual Signing Day
Contributed Photos – There were plenty of smiles all around as five Albion High seniors, including brothers Javon and Amari Jones, announced their plans to play collegiate sports at the school’s annual Senior Signing Day on Wednesday. Javon, at left, signed to continue his education and his football career at SUNY Brockport. Amari committed to attend Edinboro University and play football.
Dallas Ecker signed to continue his education and his swimming career at Alfred State College. He is shown here with his mother Mary Ecker and Albion swim Coach Jay Kovaleski. Ecker, who has been named a member of the All Western New Yok Academic team, also received the school’s Multi Sport Student Athlete Award.
Samantha Basinait will be continuing her education and her soccer career at SUNY Cobleskill. She is shown here with her parents Craig and Dawn and her sisters Isabella and Kaitlynn.
Nick Harling has committed to attend Washington and Jefferson College and play football. He is shown here with his parents Kathy and Stephen Harling.
