Medina man faces felony charges for allegedly selling crack cocaine

MEDINA – A Medina man faces felony charges for allegedly selling crack cocaine in the Medina area, the Orleans County Major Felony Crime Task Force reported.
Ronald O. Riley Jr., 44 , of 11400 Sanderson Rd. has been charged with three counts of criminal sale and three counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree, which are class B felonies.
Orleans County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Riley on Saturday at his home address in the Town of Shelby on a sealed indictment handed up by an Orleans County grand jury for drug sale and drug possession charges.
Riley was arraigned on an Orleans County sealed indictment warrant in County Court by Judge Sanford Church. Riley was committed to the county jail on $25,000 cash bail or $50,000 bond. Bail was set due to Riley’s previous criminal history, the Task Force reported.
This investigation is ongoing, with further charges and arrests pending, said Task Force Supervising Investigator Joe Sacco.
Sgt. Adam Hazel and Deputy Dave Lauer of the Orleans County Sheriff’s Department apprehended Riley while on patrol.
