Lady Tigers roll past Lancers
Pulling away with a four run third inning, Lyndonville went on to defeat host Elba 11-1 this afternoon to improve to 2-0 in Genesee Region League softball competition.
A triple by winning pitcher Maddy Boyle, a double by Haley Wetherbee and a single by Morgan Hungerford highlighted the decisive third inning uprising which gave Lyndonville a 6-1 lead.
Boyle had a total of three hits, including a double, as Hungerford and Wetherbee each had two.
In the circle, Boyle allowed only 4 hits and struck out 7.
Pembroke 9, Holley 1
Bailey Papaj, Brooklyn Bartholomew, Anna Brasted and Brianna VanAmeron each had two hits for Holley in the Lady Hawks 9-1 G-R loss at Pembroke.
Attica 19, Kendall 3
Sarah Gardner had 2 hits, Sarah Pearson an RBI single and Chelsea Wright a single for Kendall in the 19-3 G-R loss at Attica.
